Rabbi Shlomo Aviner Shalita, is one of the spiritual leaders of our generation and the successors of our Rabbi Rabbi Zvi Yehuda HaCohen Kook ztzel. The rabbi was born in occupied France in the year 5777. He was in the national management of the Bnei Akiva youth movement in France and was involved in education. He acquired a higher education in mathematics and received a degree in electronics engineering. Immigrated to Israel in the year 5766, and studied at the Rabbi’s Central Yeshiva and the Hebron Settlers Yeshiva. The rabbi served in the IDF and graduated with the rank of lieutenant. He was the rabbi of Kibbutz Lavi in ​​the Galilee, of Moshav Keshet in the Golan Heights, and of the settlement Beit El. Since 1972, the rabbi has served as the head of Yeshiva Aterat Yerushalayim (Etret Kohanim).

Rabbi Aviner authored about 175 books on Judaism in various fields: halacha, faith, commentaries on the books of Maran Rabbi Kook, editing the books of our Rabbi Rabbi Zvi Yehuda and more, and some of them were translated into several languages. Thousands of his lessons reach the masses of Beit Israel on tapes, CDs, radio, internet and text messages. He is consulted by Jews from all avenues of the people, including youth in need. The rabbi has a radio show, where he answers listeners’ questions. In addition, the rabbi answers about 300 questions in various fields every day.
